Experiencing the Future of the Digital Economy
What does the future of the digital economy look like? Students of our Master’s programme in International Business Management had the unique opportunity to find out firsthand in Tartu, Estonia - one of the most digitally advanced countries in Europe.
During their study visit, they immersed themselves in Estonia’s dynamic tech and startup scene. A key highlight was attending the sTARTUp Day, one of the largest startup festivals in the Baltics. Here, they listened to inspiring talks by founders and investors, built connections, and explored the latest trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI), DeepTech, and HealthTech.
Beyond the festival, the students visited several globally successful Estonian companies, gaining interesting insights into their innovation strategies. Additionally, an exchange with students from the Innovation and Technology programme at the renowned University of Tartu provided new perspectives on international business developments.
This study visit demonstrated how innovation, digitalization, and entrepreneurship shape the global economy - an invaluable experience for our students as they prepare for their future careers.
