For more than twenty-five years, Simone Vintz has been working for the Stiftung Warentest Consumer safety group, where she is responsible for research projects in the services sector. Her primary areas of expertise are methodology and market research, e.g. the evaluation of service quality or consumer topics like Internet application and the protection of data privacy. She was awarded the Consumer Journalist Prize for her research on the privacy of apps. She is a member of the advisory board of the Digital Market Watchdog - a project of the Association of Consumer Centres.
